We help families and children with special needs learn about nature, conservation and animals at Oak Tree Village and Animal Park.

Our Mission
At Mountain Safari, Inc. we are dedicated to helping children and their families learn about Nature. We especially want to help those children who are emotionally and physically challenged. We strive to specifically help them to become more aware of conservation, animals, farm life and how humans interact with nature for our needs. We do this by providing theraputic opportunities for children to interact with with the animals through structured activities, formal educational classes, touching and experimental exercises. The goal is to improve the overall well-being of the children and to provide support to their families that participate in our programs.
Help us
Volunteers and Docents are needed that can help provide educational programs for the children and their families, provide supervision in the animal park and on tours. We also need volunteers to help with the animal care, fund raising, maintenance and informational services at the park. Our Volunteers and Docents report that they find their work at Mountain Safari very rewarding and fulfilling. We provide training for our Docents and Volunteers and classes are given on a regular basis. If you would like to be a Volunteer or Docent please call the office for the class schedule. Donations are also very important for the operation of Mountain Safari, Inc. We operate solely on donations and we accept cash, checks or money orders made out to Mountain Safari, Inc.

We also have a wish list that has the items we need to conduct classes and take care of the animals. The items on the wish list can be obtained by calling our office and a copy of the wish list will be sent to you. We will greatly appreciate your time, funds or any way you can help Mountain Safari, Inc. the children and animals. History
Mountain Safari, Inc. is the dream of the Wilson/Fox family. Our Board of Directors is made up of Mental Health Specialists, Educators and Zoologists. Our programs are offered at Picturesque Oak Tree Village and Aniumal Park. With a western theme, Oak Tree Village has been serving families and children in beautiful Oak Glen in apple country in Southern California for over 50 years.
All animals used by Mountain Safari, Inc are inspected by the USDA and California Department of Fish and Game. All exotic and native species have the appropriate permits to participate in our educational programs.
